ASIAN WOMAN MAGAZINE GETS THE HOTTEST TICKET IN TOWN

On Saturday night (26th April) Bollywood’s glitterati came together to recognise the best in Bollywood at the Zee Cine Awards. Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty with boyfriend Raj Kundra walked the red carpet of the ExCel, London posing for photos and stopping for interviews. Once inside they were treated to copies of Asian Woman Magazine on the £15,000 tables, the witty Karan Johar and statuesque Diya Mirza presenting the nights Awards and of course spectacular stage performances by the stars. Highlights included Rekha’s impromptu solo, Katrina Kaif doing her thing in black leather, Vidya Balan, Upen Patel arriving on stage on a bike, and the UK’s Jay Sean performing his hit song. The Zee Cine Awards honour the best of Indian Film Industry’s popular work from the previous year. The first Zee Cine awards function was held in 1998 in Mumbai. Since then, the awards have been presented every year. In 2004, the awards went international and were held in Dubai.
